With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 SPRING TEAM PREVIEW: Mentor Cardinals

Conference Record: GCC, 9-5

2019 Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: "We have depth and experience returning at all positions, and young guys that are hungry and looking to step up. I think we have as good a chance as anyone if we play to our capabilities of competing for a state title."

PBR Outlook: Coming off a solid 2019 campaign, the Cardinals and coach Jeff Haase return a good amount of talent. 2019 could be a special year for Mentor.
