As with most recruiting summers, there are always a handlful of pitchers that increase their value later in the summer or even their senior spring that vaults them into a spotlight and the process goes from mediocre to whirlwind in a matter of days. We've seen it of numerous occasions first hand as well.

+ Dallas Repine of James M. Bennet (MD) jumped on the scene late Maryland Unsigned Senior Games, topping out at 89 mph and making his pledge to Towson shortly thereafter.

+ Mark Loving showed off arm strength and potential for more with an 85 mph fastball at the Virginia Unsigned Senior Games last August and put him as a top uncommitted arm heading into the spring. This March Loving showed off a 85-88 fastball touching 89 mph in the Benedictine victory over STAB. Loving would later commit to Virginia Tech shortly thereafter.

Those are just two examples. Today we take a look arms across Maryland and Virginia who could again fall into this category and gain more momentum this back end of the summer, or into the spring.
