Mid-Michigan Prospect Showcase Roundup

Combine a great venue and good talent and you have the makings of a good day for baseball.  The Mid-Michigan Prospect Showcase was just that.  We hosted 41 players and schools like Michigan, Michigan State, Western, Central, Oakland, Delta College, and Northwood.  Here are some of the top performers on the day:


Best Velocities 

Ethan Wiskur, RHP, Flint Powers Catholic, 2013- 89 mph
Wiskur's first pitch was his hardest registering at 89mph but he sat from 86-88 with the rest of his fastballs.  

Zach Olzsewski, C/RHP, Bay City John Glenn, 2013- 88mph 
Olzsewski wasn't far behind Wiskur touching 88 mph and doing it on only 1 day of rest after throwing a complete game on Saturday July 21.

Maverick Prine, SS/RHP, Davison, 2013- 6.72

Zack Reed, MIF/OF, Bullock Creek, 2013- 6.81
