Midwest Fall Championships: Saturday Notebook

The 2019 PBR Midwest Fall Championships are taking place at Grand Park in Westfield, IN. Here are the highlights from Saturday’s action.

2020

+The Cangelosi Sparks put on a hit parade Saturday, dispatching the Fieldhouse Pirates 15-0 in four innings. SS Christian Knapczyk (Joliet Catholic HS, IL) led the way with four RBIs. He blooped a double into left field in his second at-bat and came around to produce more with a two-run single to left field.

+ OF Jack Payton (Brother Rice HS, IL) was 1-2 with an RBI 3B that cleared the center fielder’s head. 1B Drake Wescott (Edwardsville HS, IL) was 1-3 with an RBI double to left field.
