Scouting Report
Committed to Nebraska in December of 2015. Ranked #1 in Nebraska 2018 class and 56th in the PBR Draft 100. 6-foot-5, 205-pound frame. Long, loose, and athletic. Fastball is 89-92 mph from whippy ¾ arm slot with considerable late run for strikes. Gomes slider at times is devastating at the high school level with 10/4 shape, repeated for quality strikes. Should have strong following of scouts throughout the spring as the 2018 MLB draft approaches.
