• Split two midweek games with Pitt CC. L 4-3(10 inn), W 7-4
• Cody Willis and Charles Lee homered in the 4-3 loss.
• Charles Webb got the mound win in game two, tossing 7.1 innings with 8 strikeouts
• Justin Oakley homered in the 7-4 win.
• Will be the No. 3 seed in the Region X Division I tournament starting May 3rd
• Scheduled to play No. 6 USC Union at 1:00pm on Friday at Lexington County Stadium in Lexington, SC

 

DII JUCOs

Brunswick CC

• Swept a midweek doubleheader against USC Salkehatchie. W 17-7, W 5-2
• Michael Caveney went 4-6 with 3 runs scored in the game one win.
• Swept a weekend series vs. Patrick Henry CC. W 15-3, W 9-7, W 10-2
• Alex Reed went 3-4 with a homerun and 3 RBI’s in the game two win.
• Hunter Stevens got the mound win in game three, tossing 7 innings, allowing 1 hit, and striking out 12.
  

Catawba Valley CC

• Lost a midweek doubleheader to Spartanburg Methodist.  L 6-0, L 8-5
• Grant Tilley and Vinny Consolo homered in the game two loss.
• Swept a weekend series against Guilford Tech CC.  W 10-7, W 4-1, W 15-6
• Tyler Campbell went 3-4 with 4 RBI’s in the game one win.
• Blake Dockery tossed a 7-inning complete game in game two, allowing 0 earned runs, and striking out 8.

Wake Tech CC

• Lost a midweek game to Florence Darlington Tech CC 8-5.
• Lost 2 of 3 to Pitt CC on the weekend.  L 2-0, L 4-1, W 7-4
• Tyler Vaughn and Jamaiz Hunt homered in the game three win.

Pitt CC

• Split two midweek games with Louisburg. W 4-3(10 inn), L 7-4
• Austin LaFollette went 2-3 with a homerun and 2 RBI’s in the 4-3 win.
• Took 2 of 3 from Wake Tech CC on the weekend.  W 2-0, W 4-1, L 7-4
• Dylan Patrick earned the mound win in game one, tossing 8 innings, allowing 0 runs and striking out 7.
• Will Liverpool got the mound win in game two, tossing 7 innings, giving up 1 run, and striking out 10.

Guilford Tech CC

• Got swept in a weekend series against CVCC. L 10-7, L 4-1, L 15-6
• Zach Martinez went 2-3 with a homerun and 4 RBI’s in the game one loss.
• Jonathan Husk went 2-3 with a grand slam in the game three loss.

Lenoir CC

• Got swept by Paul D. Camp on the weekend. L 6-5(10 inn), L 3-2, L 11-1
• Michael Gans went 3-4 in the game one loss.
• Jared Spinner went 3-4 with an RBI in the game two loss.

Southeastern CC

• Split a Saturday doubleheader against USC Sumter. W 3-2, L 6-5

Rockingham CC

• Lost a midweek game to Patrick Henry CC 9-3.
• Drew Colvin was strong on the mound in the loss going 7 innings, allowing 1 earned run, and striking out 12.
• Kelsey Weems and Blake Cleverly homered in the loss.

Surry CC

• Lost a midweek game to Pfieffer JV 5-4.
• Won 3 of 4 against Thomas Nelson CC on the weekend.  W 4-2, L 6-4, W 6-1, W 8-3
• Jacob Tuttle got the mound win in game one with the 7-inning complete game, allowing 1 earned run and striking out 9.
• Nick Smith and Carson James were strong on the mound in the game three win.
• Price Hargett and Jordan Knight were strong on the mound in game four win.
