NJCAA CHAMPIONSHIPChipola (FL) - 10 vs. Walters St. (TN) - 7
Chipola College (FL) successfully defended their 2017 NJCAA National Title by defeating Walters St. (TN) 10-7 on Saturday evening. After falling behind 5-2 thhrough five innnings, Chipola exploded for four runs in the top of the sixth to take a 6-5 lead over Walters St. Walters St. would tie the game in the bottom of the inning, but the Indians would take the lead for good in the top of the seventh. Chipola extended their lead to 10-7 in the eight and ninth, finshing off the Senators and taking home their second consecutive National Championship.

NJCAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 2 (BEST-OF-3)
Parkland (IL) - 3 vs. LSU Eunice (LA) - 5
In exciting fashion, LSU Eunice took home their sixth National Title on a two-out, two-strike two run walk-off home run by first baseman Slate Fuller over the left field wall. The Bengals swept No. 2 seed Parkland in the best-of-3 championship.
D3 NJCAA World Series - Greeneville, TN
NJCAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 1Tyler (TX) - 12 vs. Oakton (IL) - 2
NJCAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 2 - WINNER TAKE ALL
Oakton (IL) - 14 vs. Tyler (TX) - 11 (13 innings)
It took four extra innings and three separate Tyler comebacks to extend the game, but the Oakton Owls were able to use a three run 13th inning to deny Tyler their fifth consectuive National Title. The Owls held leads of 7-5 (9th inning), 9-7 (10th inning), 11-9 (11th inning) and finally 14-11 (13th inning) before they could put away the Apaches. Oakton come away with their first National Title in their first ever appearance at the D3 NJCAA World Series.
