Prospect Update: Styles is a versatile player out of the Ontario Nationals camp and a left-handed hitter with feel and looseness in his hands at the plate. A sub 7.00 runner that plays on the bases, there is room to gain strength in his 6-foot frame and we can see Styles game continuing to trend as he matures physically. At the plate, the swing works as it’s more of a contact-oriented approach with line drives that he can spray across the diamond. Defensively, Styles is versatile defender who can play multiple spots on the diamond. He’s comfortable in the infield, moves well with range and can also be an adequate defender in the outfield when he lets his athleticism take over. 2019 Projection: |
