Prep Baseball Report Oklahoma hosted the second annual OK Summer Open I.D. on Tuesday, July 17th, at the newly turfed Wendell Simmons Field at the University of Central Oklahoma. The event showcased a sold out 55 player roster from all grad classes. Each position player went through a pro-style workout and pitchers threw in a bull pen session. 

Today, we take a look at the 17 outfielders from the event. Though many of them are two-way players, they will be covered here as outfielders, with their pitching analysis on their profiles already.

Tag Allen OF / RHP / Marlow, OK / 2020 A muscular 6-foot-1, 203-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a balanced and athletic set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses almost no load with and a short stride before launching his hands on a flat path with bat speed and strength. In BP, shows a middle to pull approach with occasional lift, some barrels, big pop, 90 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.57 60. Defensively, shows clean, confident, and athletic actions. Throws with a full arm stroke coming through a ¾ slot at 85 mph with accuracy.

Dylan Bohuslavicky OF / OF / Mustang, OK / 2021 A developing 5-foot-9, 135-pound frame with some quick twitch actions and room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide and back leg heavy set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a short load and very small stride before pulling his hands through a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field and flat approach, some barrels, 73 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.69 60. Defensively, shows aggressive, clean, and athletic actions. Throws with a long arm action through an over the top slot with accuracy at 70 mph.

Valek Cisneros OF / RHP / Clinton, OK / 2019 A physically impressive 6-foot-5, 205-pound frame with strength throughout. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, wide, back leg heavy, and athletic set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate and quick leg kick before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path with bat speed. In BP, shows a pull approach with occasional lift and consistent pop, mostly barrels, 88 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.09 60. Defensively, shows aggressive actions, gets rid of the ball quickly with a big crow hop, moderate arm stroke, and high-¾ slot with some accuracy at 78 mph.

Jacob Conner OF / RHP / Mustang , OK / 2020 A proportional 6-foot-3, 185-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a narrow and upright set-up with rhythm throughout. Uses a short load and double stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle to pull and flat approach, mostly barrels, 81 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.95 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident actions, charges the ball well and gets good reads. Throws with a short arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with excellent accuracy at 79 mph.

Logan Glass OF / Mustang, OK / 2019 A physically impressive 6-foot-4, 202-pound lean and athletic frame with strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a relaxed, upright, and open stance with low set hands and some rhythm throughout. Uses a huge leg kick, moderate stride, and arm bar load before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with bat speed and strength. In BP, shows a flat and middle of the field approach, hitting line drives to the fence, some barrels, 96 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.65 60. Defensively, shows clean confident and athletic actions with excellent closing speed and charges the ball well. Throws with a full arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with elite arm speed and carry, shows some accuracy at 100 mph from the outfield.

Clay Hatfield RHP / OF / Stillwater, OK / 2020 A long and projectable 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide and slightly open set-up with some rhythm throughout. Uses a rocking load with a moderate leg lift before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path to extension. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach, some barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.82 60. Defensively, shows aggressive actions and high energy with good closing speed. Throws with a long arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy at 68 mph.

Patrick Hunter OF / Clinton, OK / 2019 A long and lean 6-foot-3 frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an open, upright, and back leg heavy set-up. Uses a quick and small leg lift before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension. In BP, shows an a fields and flat approach with mostly barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.03 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident actions, charges the ball well. Throws  with a full arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with excellent accuracy at 81 mph.

Mason McIntyre OF / Yukon, OK / 2020 A long and lean 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide and slightly closed crouch with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a smooth load and small reverse top-tap stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path with big extension. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap approach with occasional lift, mostly barrels, 81 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.32 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident actions, charges the ball well, uses a shuffle to get rid of the ball. Throws with a moderate arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot, shows excellent carry and accuracy at 81 mph.

Dondi King Jr. LHP / OF / Edmond Santa Fe, OK / 2021 A lean and muscular 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame. Offensively, the switch hitter bats from similar balanced, even, and athletic set-ups on both sides with rhythm from both sides.  Uses a moderate reverse toe-tap load before dropping his hands and pulling them through an uphill path through extension. In BP, from the left side, show and all fields approach with some lift to the pull side, almost all barrels, 88 mph exit velo. From the right side, shows a middle to pull approach with some lift, some barrels, 89 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.71 60. Defensively, shows confident and athletic actions with good closing speed. Throws with a moderate arm stoke through an over the top slot with some accuracy at 76 mph.

Brendan Kirchhoff OF / RHP / Southmoore , OK / 2020 A developing 5-foot-9, 130-pound developing frame with quick twitch actions and room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, upright, and relaxed set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a short stride before pulling his hands through a flat path through extension and hitting from his front foot. In BP, shows a pull-gap and mostly flat approach, 79 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.69 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident actions in the outfield. Throws with a full arm stroke through an nearly over the top slot with good carry and excellent accuracy at 83 mph.

Isaac Mujica OF / SS / Edmond North, OK / 2019 A lean frame with quick twitch actions. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a quiet, open, and back leg heavy with bend in his waist. Uses a small hand pump load with a short stride before launching his hands on a flat path to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field and flat approach with bat speed and some barrels, 87 mph exit velo. Runs an impressive 6.56 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident action in the outfield charging the ball well, excellent closing speed, and a gets rid of the ball quickly with a moderate arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy at 74 mph.  Also athletic enough to play the infield.

Bryston Sneed OF / 2B / Jenks, OK / 2020 A lean 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a  quiet, wide and front foot heavy. Uses a rocking load with moderate hand pump before launching the on a flat path to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows an all fields and flat approach, mostly barrels, 77 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.95 60. Defensively, shows aggressive and high energy actions. Throws with a long arm stroke coming through an over the top slot with some accuracy at 70 mph.

Carson Thomas LHP / OF / Carl Albert, OK / 2020 A lean and very projectable 6-foot, 160-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an open, back leg heavy,  and athletic set-up with rhythm throughout. Uses a moderate leg kick before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path with short extension. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap approach with some lift, mostly barrels 81 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.88 60. Defensively, shows clean, smooth, confident, and athletic actions. Throws with a clean and fluid full arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with accuracy and carry at 80 mph.

Parker Tipton OF / RHP / Norman North, OK / 2019 A proportional 5-foot-11, 190-pound frame with some strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a quiet, even, and back leg heavy set-up. Uses a smooth load and short stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with quickness and bat speed. In BP, shows an all fields and flat approach, almost all barrels, 86 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.06 60. Defensively, shows, clean, confident, and athletic actions. Throws with a full arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with excellent accuracy, carry, and arm strength at 86 mph.

Kenyon Tollison RHP / C / Bridgecreek, OK / 2021 A developing 5-foot-8, 125-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide, closed, and back leg heavy set-up with rhythm throughout. Uses a short stride before pulling his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach with lift, a few barrels, 78 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.58 60. Defensively, shows aggressive actions in the outfield, uses a short shuffle instead of a crow hop, throws with a long arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with at 66 mph with some accuracy.

Matthew Turpen OF / RHP / Owasso, OK / 2019 A strong 6-foot-2, 210 pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide and balanced set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a smooth load and moderate stride with quality leg drive before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with some quickness and strength. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach with some pop and mostly barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.95 60. Defensively, shows deliberate and confident actions. Throws with a moderate arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy at 80 mph.

Brennan Vickers OF / 2B / Enid, OK / 2019 A lean 5-foot-9, 150-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from slightly narrow and athletic set-up with some rhythm throughout. Uses a moderate stride with a late heel plant before launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle of the field approach with occasional lift, mostly barrels, 77 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.93 60. Defensively, shows athletic, clean, and confident actions, taking good routes and charging the ball well. Throws with a full and clean arm stroke coming through a near over the top slot with accuracy and carry at 83 mph. Also athletic enough to play in the middle infield.
