Alan (Bubba) Arslanian, C/3B, Aurora, 2017

5-foot-9, 170-pound catching prospect. From the crouch he shows very quick feet and transfer to throw time. He uses a short arm coming from a high ¾ slot reaching a top velocity of 73 mph. His pop times were between a 1.97-2.05. Catcher can continue to improve by gaining strength in his frame giving him additional arm strength. Right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance, getting back to even, uses a fluid hands back to shoulder trigger. Keeps swing level through the hitting zone, producing a top exit velocity of 82 mph. Weight has a tendency to leak forward and can benefit by improving overall balance in his swing mechanics. He ran a 4.53 down to first base.

Alex Jacobs, SS/RHP, Indian Lake, 2017

Solid 6-foot-1, 180-pound mature build. From the infield he would benefit from being a little more aggressive playing through the baseball. He uses a short arm action coming from a ¾ slot with a top velocity of 80 mph on his throws. Maybe better suited as a third-baseman. Left-handed hitter starts with a balanced set up, uses a hands back to shoulder trigger, and an inward turn with his front foot for a timing mechanism. Shows the ability to use both sides of the field reaching a top exit velocity of 79 mph. He ran a 4.52 down to first base. From the mound he uses a long arm action with average armspeed coming from a ¾ slot. His fastball was 77-80 mph. Curveball showed downward gradual break at 67-71 mph. He also threw a hard changeup with fastball armspeed at 72-74 mph.

Andy Mills, SS/OF, St. Xavier, 2017

5-foot8, 140-pound thin build with plenty of room for added strength. Infielder, can improve footwork by being more aggressive playing through the baseball. Would like to see him improve on getting rid of the ball faster. He uses a short arm action from a ¾ slot with a top velocity of 75 mph. From the outfield, I would like to see him create more of a crow hop to help aid in strength and carry on throws. He uses a short arm action reaching a top velocity of 79 mph on his throws. Offensively, he starts with his weight more towards his back leg, doesn’t use a hand trigger, uses a small leg kick to help with power. Contact type hitter is short and to the ball reaching a top exit velocity of 76 mph. From home to first base he ran a 4.59.

Anthony Robinson, OF, Wadsworth, 2017

5-foot-8, 155-pound average body frame. From the outfield he can improve his footwork by being more aggressive through the baseball, and working on creating a crow hop to enhance carry on his throws that reached a top velocity of 79 mph. Offensively, he starts with his weight more towards his back leg, no present hand trigger, simple step and swing type mechanics. Swings with a level bat path through the zone creating a top velocity of 81 mph. Hands are short and quick to the ball. He showed some speed running a 4.06 down the line to first base from home plate.

5-foot-9, 130-pound skinny, young frame with plenty of room to fill, and get stronger.
