With the Summer season done, the 2015-2016 high school sports season underway and fall ball finishing up, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position.

Ohio Insider: Uncommitted Senior Q&A - Brady Rupp, OF/RHP

Name: Brady Rupp
Position: OF/RHP
Grade: 2016
Height/Weight: 5-foot-11, 165 pounds
High School: Wauseon High School
Ranked: 209th in 2016 class

Evaluation from 2014: 5-foot-10, 155-pound athletic body. From the outfield he takes good routes to the ball and is very aggressive on run through balls. He throw from a high-¾ slot with good arm speed and a top velocity of 82 mph. Right-handed hitter that starts open stays open. He has a short compact swing and really gets the barrel to the inside pitch. His top exit velocity is 85 mph and 4.47 home to first. Right-handed pitcher that has a controlled lift that stands tall on his back side. He throws from a high-¾ slot with his fastball sitting 79-82 with some cut and down angle. His curveball he really tries to throw hard sits at 70-73 with good depth and a 11/5 late break. He throws his changeup with good arm speed at 67-71 mph with fade.

PBR: What showcase(s) did you attend and what was your impression on the showcase?

Rupp: 2014 Underclassmen Games, 2014 Northeast Ohio Showcase at Kent State. I was impressed by all the baseball talent in the state of Ohio.

PBR: Since the showcase, what have you done to make yourself a better baseball player?

Rupp: I work at my game year round, trying to continue to improve my fundamentals. I also play a lot of baseball besides the spring season. Playing with the Lima Locos Express this past summer has made me a better and more confident player.

PBR: Who have you been hearing from college wise and what have they been saying?

Rupp: I have visited Walsh University twice. I like Coach Mead and the baseball program. I also visited Otterbein and Ohio Wesleyan. I am visiting Heidelberg later this month. I have also received interest from Thiel, Mount Union, and Washington and Jefferson. All coaches tell me that I would be a good fit for their programs.

PBR: Any favorite for yourself when it comes to a college choice?

Rupp: I like the coaches and programs at Walsh, Otterbein, and Heidelberg.

PBR: What are you looking for in a college?

Rupp: I am looking for a college that offers a Finance degree and has a well-established baseball program.

PBR: What would you tell a college coach that you can bring and provide for their team on and off the field?

Rupp: I feel I will be a good leader and a hard worker on and off the field.

PBR: Since school has started back up, what are your plans for the fall and winter sports wise?

Rupp: I played golf this past Fall. I was first team NWOAL the past 2 seasons, second team my freshman year, and honorable mention my sophomore year. I was second team NWOAL last year in baseball and second team all district outfielder. I ended my Junior year with a .405 BA.

PBR: Summer team name and summer stats, send as many as you have?

Rupp: I hit .317 for the Lima Locos Express this past summer. I also had 29 putouts without any errors for the whole summer.

PBR: Spring Stats, send as many as you have?

Rupp: .405 = 18th best single season average in Wauseon history

32 hits in a season = 7th most hits in a season in Wauseon history

Rupp: 3.5/23
