Scouting Report     
 Chillino checks in at a compact 5-foot-11 200 pounds. The catcher ran a 8.18 60. Offensively- Starts in a spread stance with feet even and outside the shoulders; short load with barrel slightly behind his head. Short stride with weight staying centered. Mostly flyball/line drive contact, could benefit from additional separation of his hands from his body to free up his swing path. Power potential is there with an exit velocity of 89 MPH. Defensively- Did not throw due to injury. Compact setup; soft receiver that stays on top of the ball. Proper angles on kickouts, bodies up the ball.

 
 What to Expect
"Glad to have Joseph back with us as we are ready to see his throwing capabilities, coming off an arm injury from prevented him from doing so in October. We know there is a strong foundation behind the plate as he handled pitchers very well at our Big Apple Preview. At the plate he has a balance approach with some lift to his pull side. Could be a late, quality addition for the right program behind the plate. Expect a bump in his overall ranking once we see the whole package."
