The Prep Baseball Report, and it’s coalition of West Coast states, are pleased to announce the creation of the West Coast Games to take place in Las Vegas August 13-15. Featuring eight teams composed of states on the West Coast, the event aims to highlight entirely uncommitted rosters of rising upperclassmen. A one-stop shop for recruiters, players will be given the opportunity to put their talents on display in a pristine setting on the campuses of UNLV and the College of Southern Nevada.

“The past year has been difficult on everyone, and with regards to baseball recruiting, the rising high school upperclassmen have been hit the hardest. There are still copious amounts of talented, uncommitted ball players available for college coaches, and we at PBR felt a responsibility to help give them a platform to showcase their skills on. The West Coast Games will cap the summer recruiting season giving recruiters from all levels an easier experience seeing a plethora of prospective program contributors”

Of the eight teams at the event, three will be composed of players from California with one each being represented by Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Pacific Northwest, and Utah. A full pro-style workout for each team will take place on Friday, August 13, with three games being played by each team Saturday and Sunday. In alignment with PBR’s commitment to raising the bar with regards to advanced analytics and technology, the use of Trackman and Blast Motion, along with unparalleled social media coverage, will make the West Coast Games the perfect spot to close out the summer season.
