The summer’s premier scouting event, the Future Games, returns to the Hoosier state August 1-4 at the state-of-the-art Grand Park complex in Westfield. The four-day event features many of the country’s top 2020 and 2021 uncommitted prospects against one another in front of hundreds of college coaches.

This year’s Indiana roster is once again full of high-end talent and will showcase some of the top uncommitted prospects in the 2020 class. There are currently 14 uncommitted players in Indiana’s class of 2020 Top 25 rankings, 13 of which will attend this year’s Future Games.

Right-handed pitchers Charez Butcher (Kokomo HS) and Cole Gilley (Columbus East HS) will be attending their second Future Games. Butcher, ranked No. 1 in the class, is a highly projectable 6-foot-5, 205 pound arm with a fastball up to 93 mph at last year’s event. Gilley, ranked No. 7, is a physical 6-foot-1, 205 pounder with a fastball into the mid-80’s, having touched 88 mph.

Four more RHP’s on the Indiana staff have been up to 88 mph or higher previously; Aiden Bradbury (2020 RHP, Carmel HS), Gene Kolarik (2020 RHP, Crown Point HS), Patrick Mastrian (2020 RHP, Bishop Chatard HS), and Camryn Szynski (2020 INF/RHP, Penn HS).

Grant Comstock (Valparaiso HS), the only 2021 arm on the roster, recently showed well at the Top Prospect Games in June. Comstock is an athletic 6-foot-3, 175 pound RHP with a long, loose arm action and fastball up to 85 mph.

2020 Griffin Lohman is a long, lanky 6-foot-5, 190 pound right-hander with a fastball up to 85 at this year's Top Prospect Games. Rounding out this year’s Indiana pitching staff are two projectable southpaws in 6-foot-5, 180 pound Zach Behrmann (2020, North Central HS), and 6-foot-3, 200 pound Conner Linn (Western HS).

At the other end of the battery are catchers Dalton Back (Columbus East HS) and Tanner Dreher (Covington HS). Both receivers have arm strength and flash pop in the bat.

Kerrington Cross (Brownsburg HS) is one of the top ranked infielders still on the market in Indiana; he can really play defense on the left side with good range and soft hands. Rounding out the middle-infield group are Tyler Nelson (2020 SS/RHP, Andrean HS), Kaleb Hannahs (West Vigo HS), Jackson Taylor (Yorktown HS) and Cooper Biven (New Albany HS), all of whom can flat out pick the baseball.

The fastest player on Indiana’s roster is Chesterton HS outfielder Tyler Nelson who ran a 6.54 laser timed 60-yard dash at June’s Top Prospect Games. Joining Nelson in the outfield will be 2021 Auston Brewer (Snider HS), a strong/athletic prospect with loose hands and hard contact at the plate.

Physical 6-foot-5, 210 pound Costa Sirounis (Munster HS), a primary RHP who is recovering from T.J, has quickly turned himself into a legitimate 2-way prospect this summer. He showcased major juice from the left-side of the plate at this year’s Top Prospect Games, driving multiple balls out during his BP Session.

First baseman Josh Ham (Martinsville HS) is another big-framed left-handed hitter with juice. The 6-foot-3, 190 pound Ham has lots of pull-side power. 3B Adam Hutchison is a strong 6-foot-4, 225 pound right-handed hitter with pop in the bat.
