Keystone State Bombers 15U National 4 0 0 2 0 1 0 7
South Jersey Hawks 3 1 1 0 1 0 0 6

- Game Notes -

- Plenty of action in today's first inning. Bombers jump out to a 4-0 lead on the strength of a Jake Book RBI single and a Ryan Flury two RBI double. Hawks answer with 3 runs of their own on two hits and a pair of sacrifice fly. A run scoring double by Ryan Weingartner was the big blow.

- Following a scoreless top of the 2nd the Hawks get an RBI single from Tim Dickinson to tie things up 4-4. 2022 RHP Nik Rubendall strikes out two to get out of a bases loaded jam to end the inning.

- Jason Morgan doubles and scores on the back end of a double steal to give the Hawks a 5-4 lead heading to the 4th inning.

- A 2 out double by Caleb Sturtevant followed by an RBI single from Jake Books allows the Bombers to regain the lead 6-5 moving to the bottom of the 4th.

- A pair of Bombers errors lead to a Hawks run in the 5th. We head to the 6th inning knotted 6-6.

- 2022 OF Caleb Sturtevant comes through again, this time with an RBI single to give the Bombers a 7-6 lead heading to the bottom of the 6th inning.

- Jake Books allows one unearned run over the final 3 innings to pick up the win. Final score Bombers 7, Hawks 6.

- Prospect Notes -

- 2022 left-handed hitter Jake Books (Bombers) has shown a balanced, advanced approach at the plate all weekend. Has a plan at the plate and doesn't miss many barrels. Solid lower half and physical frame should lead to power in the future.

- 11:30 GAME -

TEAMS 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 R
Bucks County Generals 2022's 4 1 0 0 1 6 - 12
GoWags Jays 0 0 4 0 0 0 - 4

- Game Notes -

- The Generals jump to a 4-0 lead in an inning highlighted by a long home run to right off the bat of 2022 left-handed hitter Max McGrady.

- GoWags Jays bounce back with 4 runs in the bottom of the 3rd. An RBI single by Justin Geiger and an RBI sac fly from Jake Cooper highlight the outburst.

- No scoring in the 4th. Generals still lead 5-4 moving to the 5th.

- Generals bat around in the 6th and plate 6 runs. Moving to final 1/2 inning Generals lead 12-4.

- Prospect Notes -

- 2022 LHP Cole Fehrman (Generals) looks good early. Working 78-81 our of an easy 3/4 arm slot. 6-foot-1, 140-pound frame is long with substantial room to add strength. Showed some feel for a curveball at 69-70 also with 1/7 rotation.

- 2021 LHP Braedon Karpathios enters in the 5th to put out a Generals rally. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder is pounding fastballs at 83-85 out of a 3/4 arm slot. The Coastal Carolina commit also flashed an above average changeup at 75 mph and a wipeout slider at 70-71.
