- Steelsharks get on the board on an RBI groundout from 2021 IF Sam Ranieri in the top of the 2nd inning.

- We are through 3 innings with the Steelsharks still leading 1-0.

- Steelsharks add two more in the top of the 4th and an RBI double from Jack Rothenhausler to deep CF & a two out single from Mario Embardino.

- Prospect Notes -

- 2021 RHP Jack Rothenhausler is working 81-83 from a high 3/4 arm slot with above average feel for his curveball. Has shown good arm speed on his changeup as well. Curveball has two-plane 11/5 rotation at 70-72.

- 2021 SS/RHP Gage Bibey (Aces) has flashed athleticism across the board over two days. Right-handed hitter has an aggressive, athletic approach at the plate and makes all the plays defensively with enough arm strength to remain on the left side. Also jumped on the mound to sit 79-80 with a quick arm and feel for a 11/5 CB at 70-71.

- Game Notes -

- Aces jump out to an early 2-0 lead on an RBI groundout from Quintin Reep and an RBI single from JD Love.

- RHP Will Hunt (Aces) finishes off the complete game shutout stranding a runner at 2B with a strikeout to end the game. Hunt's final line - O R, 9 K, 1 BB, 3 H.

- Prospect Notes -

- 2021 RHP Will Hunt (Aces) sitting 82-84 from a long, looses high 3/4 arm slot early. Also utilizes an effective CB at 72-74 for a pair of strikeouts with runners in scoring position.

- 2021 RHP Logan Divald (Flood City) sitting 81-83 early from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short takeaway and some length out front. Fastball shows some arm-side run. Curveball has short 11/5 break at 69-71 and changeup shows some run at 75-76.

- 2021 SS Gage Bibey (Aces) continues to impress with his approach at the plate with a pair of two strike hits so far in this one. Tough out with two strikes. Shortens swing and uses the full field.

- 2021 C Nick Plank continues to showcase an advanced hit tool. After squaring everything up a few weeks ago at the Western PA Top Prospect Games Plank just drove a two strike CB into the right center field gap for a stand up triple. Right-handed hitter made a solid adjustment from his first at bat to keep his hands back and took the off speed pitch the other way.

- 2021 left-handed hitter Frank Why showcased a 4.00 down the line on a push bunt yesterday and has shown a short swing with above average bat to ball skills. Has proven to be a tough out with a number of two strike hits over two days.

- 2021 C JD Love has showcased athleticism behind the plate with a soft glove hand and advanced blocking abilities with consistent 2.10 pop times between innings. The right-handed hitter has also impressed with the bat squaring the baseball consistently with a middle of the field approach.

- Flood City responds with a pair of runs in the top of the 3rd. Zander Sipes leads off the 4th inning for Flood City with a triple to deep right center field and scores on a ground out one pitch later to cut the lead to 6-3.

- Prospect Notes -

- 2021 SS Brayden D'Amico has made a number of difficult plays look routine today. Has flashed consistent solid footwork and above average arm strength.Top of the order left-hand bat with good foot speed.

- 6-foot-1, 205-pound RHP Brendon Bair just got the crowd talking. The physical righty pumped fastballs at 89-93 out of a 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm. A tight slider at 73-75 give Bair a pair of college ready pitches. Rumors of his velocity this summer have spread and the uncommitted junior should draw significant interest the remainder of the summer.
