Cormac Clune SS / OF / Seton School, VA / 2021
Atheltic frame with quick hands and a short swing. Hits from a balanced set up with small leg lift load. Keeps hands inside the ball well and showed the ability to throw the barrel on the inner half. Nice athleticism from a top of the order type player.
Interesting 2021 IF Cormac Clune (Seton School VA).

Ben Craig LHP / OF / Homeschool, VA / 2022
I have been a fan of Craig for a while now and it revolves around the fact that he brings something a little different that could shape a pitching staff. He has a long frame with more growing to be done and strength to be added. Throws from a side arm slot from the left side. High spin rate fastball / slider combo that gets late action to both sides of the plate and gets a lot of uncomfortable swings. The velo should make another jump from that slot as he adds to frame. Some work to be done on repeatability that will refine this prospect who i think shows a ton of upside. Fastball was 78-80 with breaking ball up to 70.
And another

Trey Gauch RHP / 1B / Deep Run, VA / 2024
Lanky projectable frame. Longer arm action with some whip through release. Could get some more lower half involvement. And room for growth in the lower half. Will add more strength and fill out his frame. Pitched with regular effort and liked the arm speed. Fastball was up to 78 and showed slight sinking action on the pitch. More there. Breaking ball was a good pitch at 68 mph with 11/5 shape and later action on the pitch that should continue to develop. One to keep an eye on.
Elite Squad VA RHP Trey Gauch (Deep Run HS) 75-78 w 66-68 BB. Clean arm action throwing from a H3/4 slot more in tank. Light effort, ball comes out easy. @PBRVirginiaDC @PBRTournaments #MAFC pic.twitter.com/HuZ3JyByX5

Drue Hackenberg RHP / 3B / Miller School, VA / 2021
Virginia Tech Commit. Physical durable frame. Not much wasted movement in delivery that was compact. Liked the lower half and his repeatability. Fastball works downhill and has late two plane action on the pitch that sat 88-90 and up to 91 on the day. Aggressive mentality on the bump. Breaking ball shows late 12/6 action that will play immediately. Pitch sat 78-80 and paired well with fastball that created many uncomfortable swings against the opposition.
2021 Drue Hackenburg (@MSA_baseball, @HokiesBaseball commit)
Physical, durable frame. Loose arm action from a H 3/4 slot. Creates nice tilt on FB downhill with sink+run. BB has late 12/6 action.

Michael Hafer 2B / RHP / Stone Bridge, VA / 2022
Athletic frame. Hits from an athletic slightly open set up at the plate. Liked the rhythm in his approach with a simpel leg kick load to hitting position. Short path with uphill finish through the baseball. Thought hands worked well throughout the tournament and looks to have some versatility defensively as well.

Long lanky projectable frame on the mound. Controlled, buildup style delivery that gets slight hip load with average backside involvement. Arm long and loose from a high three-quarter slot. Nice arm speed while throwing with regular effort. Fastball got up to 83 on the day with a 72 mph breaking ball that showed late 11/5 action on the pitch and potential to be a put-away type pitch.

Kyle Johnson LHP / 1b / Riverside, VA / 2023
Impressed with what Johnson brought to the table over the weekend. Athletic frame with room to add on and plays the game with a smoothness and controlled aggression. On the mound has a compact build up style delivery. Athletic arm action with a quickness throwing from a three-quarter slot. Easy effort that was able to get up to 81. More there as he continues. Shows two way potential. At the plate hits from a taller slightly open set up. Simple leg lift load with slight weight shift and squares up lower half at footstrike. Short stroke with uphill finish and nice feel for the barrel. Present strength and more there.
2023 LHP Kyle Johnson (@Rvsidebaseball).
Compact delivery, high leg kick with slight crossbody action upon landing. Sound arm action from 3/4 slot. Easy effort + whip thru release. More there as he matures.

Andrew Jones RHP / C / Midlothian, VA / 2022
Athletic frame. Controlled delivery with higher leg kick. Slight drop n drive with average backside. Shorter arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot. Creates nice arm speed while pitching with regular effort. Fastball works downhill that got up to 85 mph. More in the tank especially as he involves the lower half more. Breaking ball has a shorter 11/5 action that shows potential to get better up to 75 mph.
2022 Andy Jones (@MidloBaseball)
Athletic frame with room to add to. H3/4 slot. Pitches with regular effort. Works downhill. BB has shorter 11/5 shape with later life. Very interesting arm.

Aden Judge OF / RHP / Nansemond River , VA / 2024
Athletic frame with room to continue to grow and shows quick twitch and explosion. Hits from a simple balanced set up at the plate. Quick rock back load to hitting position. Shorter level path at the plate with some feel for the barrel. Quiet strength in swing with pop that surprises. Confident and quick first step taht can get to top speed quickly. Shows some balance inconsistencies that should continue to improve with his age at the plate. Like the upside here.

Hayden Rollison 3B / SS / Collegiate, VA / 2023
Imposing frame with present strength. Rollison also showed some two way potential at the next level as he continues to progress with his career. At the plate its an athletic set up with an average leg kick while keeping weight back. Hands are direct to the baseball with some extension through contact. Showed strength throughout and a feel for barrel. On the mound is very intriguing with his potential. Short arm stroke that hides ball. Has a solid foundation with lower half implementation and posture while showing arm speed with regular effort. I see more there as he progresses and continues to fine tune the delivery while adding strength. Was up to 77 on the day and would not be surprised to see him make a decent jump as he continues to work. Keep an eye on.

Jalen Strattman LHP / 1B / Homeschool, VA / 2022
Recently reclassed from 2021. Physical frame with strong lower half. High leg kick lift that gets into his lower half. Throws from high three quarter slot while pitching with some effort. Has nice three pitch mix. Fastball is straight hides well and comes at hitters.Pitch got up to 82 on the day. Breaking ball has tight 1/7 shape and showed good feel for the pitch throwing repeatedly for strikes when he wanted to up to 71 mph. Underused change up might be my favorite pitch in his arsenal, with fastball arm speed and late life with sink at 72 mph.
2021 Jalen Strattman (@LDHS_Baseball).
