2022 OUTLOOK:
“As every year we expect to contend for a Section Title, our program's success with State appearances in 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2017, along with Section Final appearances in 2011 & 2019 and Section Final Four appearances in 2010, 2016, & 2018, we have set our bar high coming into each season. With 8 returning starters I am excited about our upcoming season. We must improve defensively as that was our demise last spring. We simply gave teams too many outs & put our young pitchers in tough situations. If we are able to make routine infield plays we will be able to contend.”
Frank Ivancich, Ely Head Coach
