PBR Missouri Player of the Week: Lee's Summit West LHP/1B Matt Hall

A key piece to the success of Lee's Summit West's rise to the top of the rankings this season has been due in part to the pitching and hitting of Matt Hall, the No. 18 ranked player in the Class of 2012 and signed to continue his career at Missouri State.

Last week, Matt led the Titans to a 2-1 record and overall 9-2 (playing eleven games in eleven days) earning player of the week honors.

In his only start of the week, the left handed Hall proceeded to throw a no hitter, striking out fourteen batters in the game. He did allow two walks, but picked one of thse batters off, so he faced twenty two batters without surrendering a hit. On the season, Hall is 2-0 has yet to allow an earned run in three starts.

Offensively, the left handed hitting Hall was nearly impossible to get out, going seven for ten with four RBIs.

Hall will be an important part of the succes Lee's Summit West achieves, and if he continues his pace, could carry the Titans to a Class Four championship.
