The Road to the Nevada State Games begins with the 2023 Nevada high school baseball season. With the season just around the corner, our staff has begun putting out team previews from all around the state, getting you prepared for another year of in-depth coverage. The depth of talent throughout the Silver State is impressively deep in each class, making for an exciting Spring that will culminate at the 2023 State Tournament in Reno, Nevada.

RECORD: 19-2

+ The Gaels captured a flawless week to improve to 19-2 on the season with a key win against Top 5 ranked Desert Oasis.

RECORD: 17-5

+ The Wolves hit a bit skid this past week going 2-1 with a pair of quality wins, but lost to a surging Green Valley Gators group.

RECORD: 18-8

+ The Diamondbacks rattled off 5 of their last 6 with a Top 10 win against Liberty, but ran into a hot Bishop Gorman group on Saturday, holding them at the #3 spot.

RECORD: 14-5

+ The Crusaders hold strong at #4 after rattling off five straight wins and are set up for an exciting Top 10 matchup today versus a gritty Liberty group.

RECORD: 18-5

+ Their is arguably no hotter team in the state than Coronado, now increasing their win steak to 10 straight and demanding a spot in the Top 5. The Top 4 have had a stronghold on those spots, but could the Cougars crack the Top 4 as we approach the home stretch?

+ The Huskies rack up 6 straight wins with a big matchup set for tomorrow against a hot Damonte Ranch group.

+ Green Valley added two huge wins to their resume last week, highlighted by a 9-1 win over rival, Basic Academy. This is a group that seems to be catching their stride as we approach the home stretch of the high school season.

+ Centennial split their 2 games this past week, losing to a red hot Green Valley group, but answered back with a win against a talented Palo Verde squad.

+ The Miners hit a bit of a skid this past week, losing two 1-run games, but answered back with a quality win against a talented Galena group.

RECORD: 15-7

+ The Patriots dropped two of their last three, but look to bounce back with a big matchup against #4 ranked Faith Lutheran squad.
