The Top 10

Jake Turner OF / LHP / Centennial, NV / 2027

Coming into his freshman year, Turner has already made a name for himself on the national scene, culminating in his early commitment to TCU shortly after the 2023 Rising Stars event. At 6-foot-3 (and growing), Turner has already developed advanced actions on boht sides of the ball with a power fastball that we project to live in the mid-to-upper 90's by the time he graduates and present power in the bat that was on display earlier this year as he left the yard multiple times to the pull side with his 2027 Class best 96.3 TrackMan Verified Exit Velocity. With the 2027 Class National Rankings coming out Wednesday, expect to see Turner's name among the top prospects in the country.

Colton Christman LHP / OF / Arbor View, NV / 2027

The Canes Las Vegas product has had himself a impressive youth career, committing to LSU before he steps on a high school field. The long, loose arm from the left side that sits in the mid-to-upper 80's with comfort in throwing from different angles, dropping down to a low 3/4 slot when needed. Already at or near the top of the Arbor View rotation, Christman is also expect to be a key contributor at the plate for the Aggies this upcoming Spring.

Alec Kajioka SS / 2B / Bishop Gorman, NV / 2027

Kajioka has impressed each time out with us, first at the 2023 Rising Stars event, then helping lead Team Nevada at the 2023 Junior Future Games on a run to the Elite 8. Kajioka features similar action to current Bishop Gorman shortstop and future USC Trojan, Maddox Riske, as a potential high level defender with a consistent bat that has shown his ability to all fields. Though we are a few years out from the 2027 Class being able to commit, expect Kajioka to be at the top of more than a few lists when that time does come in 2025.

Eddie Peterson C / 2B / BISHOP GORMAN, NV / 2027

Peterson flashed his present tools at the 2023 Rising Stars event, producing an event best 2.03 PBR Verified Pop Time with advanced catch and throw tools. On the offensive side, he showcased his ability to drive the ball to the big part of the yard with power potential that we expect to be transition to present power in the near future.

Cash Martin RHP / 3B / Faith Lutheran, NV / 2027

The LVR product may arguably have the most polished delivery in Nevada's 2027 Class, with a low effort motion that consistently produces strikes. His fastball already cruising in the mid 80's, the present feel for his secondary mix is going to be a separator for Martin as he begin his high school career with a Faith Lutheran roster that is loaded with young talent. This a player that we expect to make his way up the Nevada Rankings, as well as the 2027 Class National Rankings, throughout his high school career.

Marco Montesanti SS / 2B / Shadow Ridge, NV / 2027

Montesanti proved himself throuhgout this past summer as one of the top defenders in Nevada's 2027 Class with the present arm strength that can keep him on the left side of the infield, registering an 87 mph Infield Velcocity and a share of the Top Velocity at the 2023 Junior Future Games. His present feel and comfort ranging laterally put him among the top in the class defensively with his bat right there as well. His ability to produce tough at-bat after tough at-bat helped him on Team Nevada and will continue to help him throughout his high school career at Shadow Ridge, where we expect him to make an early impact.

Adrian Ramos OF / LHP / Basic, NV / 2027

Ramos is another high level two way player in Nevada's 2027 Class and one most competitive players in the class that was on display at the 2023 Future Games. Each big situation that came up, Ramos wanted the to be on the mound and bring it home for Team Nevada. He also proved himself to be a premium defender with comfort in each outfield position with excellent jumps and routes to track down balls in each gap. Expect Ramos to make a push throughout his high school career to make his way up the Nevada 2027 Class Top 10 Rankings.

Justin Rodrigues SS / 2B / Bishop Gorman, NV / 2027

Rodrigues was a standout at the 2023 Rising Stars event with advanced defensive action up the middle with advanced feel for the ball outside of his feet, ranging with ease and showing his ability to change arm angles to stay fluid throughout the process. At the plate, he used his compact, efficient swing to produce one of the top rounds of the event with consistent line drive to the big part of the yard throughout. Keep an eye on Rodrigues as a player who could make significant strides as he continues to develop physically.

Karsen Smaka OF / RHP / Palo Verde, NV / 2027

Smaka is in the conversation of the top overall athletes in Nevada's 2027 Class. The present tools are separator for him in this Class with PBR Verified - 6.98 Swift Performance 60 Time, 84 mph Outfield Velocity, and a 93.1 mph TrackMan Exit Velocity. A key piece of Team Nevada at the 2023 Junior Future Games, he ascended into a leadership roll at the top of the lineup, bringing energy each game that the rest of the team fed off. He produced one of the most memorable moments at the event with his bottom of the 7th walk off to give Team Nevada the win over a talented Mid-Atlantic team.

Dallon Cegavske OF / RHP / Basic, NV / 2027

Cegavske is another LVR product that was a key contributor on Team Nevada at the 2023 Junior Future Games. His advanced abilities on both sides of the ball were present throughout the event with his high level approach at the plate helping him produce key at-bats to help lead the team to one of their deepest runs in the event's history. A separator for Cegavske was his ability on the base paths, consistently applying pressure to opposing defenses and putting himself in scoring position. This is another projectable athlete that could take his game to another level as he fills out his developing frame.
