Player of the Week nominations are submitted by High School coaches across North Carolina each week. Along with the nominations, Prep Baseball Report is diving into box scores, talking to coaches and scouts, and attending as many games as possible.
PBR's staff sifts through the information sent in and seen by our scouts to determine the PBR Player of the Week every Tuesday. You can see a full list of players off to a hot start in Diamond Notes, a collection of notes, stats, and highlights from the past week, published every Wednesday during the season.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Worked 6 innings in a win against Wayne Country Day. He struck out 16 while giving up no earned runs and allowing only 1 hit. The East Carolina recruit is 4-0 on the year with 1 save and 0.85 ERA.
Player of the Week
The North Carolina recruit had a big week at the plate going 6-10 with 3 homers, a triple, 9 RBI's, 6 Runs, 2 walks and was hit twice. He also tossed a 6 inning complete game allowing 1 hit and striking out 11 and not issuing a walk.
