South Lakes at No. 1 James Madison
The Warhawks look to bounce back from their first Conference loss Tuesday night as they host the Seahawks. Madison won the first meeting between these two, 7-0.

No. 2 Hanover at Patrick Henry (Ashland)
Hanover travels to Patrick Henry for a non-conference matchup this evening. The Hawks defeated Benedictine on Thursday night and have let to lose to an opponent from Virginia.

No. 3 Greenbrier Christian at Hampton Roads Academy
The Gators are riding a fifteen game winning streak and still have not lost to an opponent from Virginia. The Gators have won some impressive games during that streak over public schools Western Branch, Granby, and Kellam.

No. 4 Liberty Christian at Fork Union
The Bulldogs have won all five of their games since returning from NHSI as they take on a solid Blue Devils squad this evening. Look for senior Zach Hess (Louisiana State) to take the ball for some portion of this game after Garret Price (Liberty) threw a no-hitter in the Bulldogs win last night.

No. 25 Jamestown at No. 7 Lafayette
The game of the night in our coverage area features the top two teams in Ironclad Conference 18 this evening. The Rams are coming into the game off of a loss to Smithfield on Tuesday and Jamestown has only lost once this spring, a 19-5 drubbing at the hands of the Rams in March. Expect to see a different type of game this evening as both teams have lined up their senior aces for tonight’s matchup, with Kent Klyman (NC State) likely to start for the Eagles and Andre Lipcius (Tennessee) ready to go for Lafayette.

No. 8 Glen Allen at Mills Godwin
The Jaguars look to continue their strong spring tonight against Conference 11 foe Godwin. Glen Allen’s bats have carried the team most of the spring, but the Jaguars did win a tight pitcher’s duel against Gloucester on Wednesday night, showing they can win any type of game.

No. 12 Jefferson Forest at Heritage (Lynchburg)
Jefferson Forest looks to continue running through the Seminole District as they travel to take on Heritage. The Pioneers come into the game off of an impressive offensive display on Wednesday night against Brookville. With Zach Peek (Winthrop) having pitched on Monday, look for Indiana Hall (Concord) or Cody Whitten to get the ball tonight for the Cavaliers with Peek as an option at the end of a tight game.

Norview at No. 13 Hickory
Hickory has been streaking since its loss to Western Branch a few weeks ago, and the Hawks have gotten some consistent pitching recently to pair with the elite offense that they have had all spring. If this trend continues, the Hawks are going to make a deep run into June.

No. 15 Bishop O’Connell at No. 9 Paul VI Catholic
A matchup of WCAC powerhouses is today’s second game of the day. Paul VI suffered a loss to St. John’s on Tuesday night that was a lot closer than the final score indicated. The Knights also lost recently to St. John’s as the Cadets ended their long win streak. Both teams have senior aces lined up with Kevin Kelly (James Madison) and Jack Cunningham (Boston College) available for the Panthers and Rafi Vazquez (Coastal Carolina) set to go for O’Connell in this matchup of the number one and two ranked teams in the most recent VISAA Division I poll.

No. 17 Kettle Run at Fauquier
The Cougars take their ten game winning streak on the road as they travel to cross-town and Conference 22 rival Fauquier this evening. Kettle Run won the first meeting in a blowout in early April.

No. 18 George C. Marshall at Edison
The Statesmen look to continue rolling through the Capitol Conference as they take their ten game winning streak on the road to Springfield to take on Edison. Marshall beat the Eagles earlier this season in a tight game, 4-2.

Frank W. Cox at No. 19 First Colonial
The Patriots won the first half of this Coastal Conference home and home on Tuesday night, 8-5, and look to remain undefeated on the season.

Tuscarora at No. 21 Briar Woods
A big game in Loudoun this evening is the third game of the night as the Falcons host the Huskies with first place in Conference 14 on the line. The Falcons are on a three-game winning streak, all three wins coming over Conference foes, including a big sweep of Potomac Falls and Stone Bridge last week. Tuscarora lost a pitcher’s duel last week to Potomac Falls, but beat Stone Bridge on Tuesday night to set-up tonight’s first place showdown.

Broad Run at No. 22 Potomac Falls
The Panthers have responded to early Conference losses to Briar Woods and Stone Bridge with a three game winning streak, including a pair of 1-0 shutout wins over Tuscarora and Loudoun Valley. Potomac Falls needs the win tonight to keep pace in Conference 14 with Tuscarora and Briar Woods.

Grace Christian at No. 25 Highland School
Highland kicks its week off tonight hosting Grace Christian. The Hawks enter the game on a three game winning streak, having scored 48 runs during that stretch. Highland also has a doubleheader on Saturday and a big matchup with Miller School looming on Tuesday.
