Pennington: In high school I hit right around .400.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Pennington: I was considering Ball state, Indiana State, Southern Illinois, Lincoln Trails, Kankakee College, and Lincoln Land College.

Pennington: They expect me to start at short stop and come in to pitch.

PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that will help Parkland?

Pennington: As a baseball player my biggest influence, impact, and father figure would be my high school coach, Marcus McCormick.  Jon Richardson and Mike Ferrell helped me a lot as well during my time playing for Pony Express.

Pennington: The toughest hitter I've faced is Drake Duncan from Ben Davis and the toughest pitcher I have faced is DJ Eckert from Danville.
