PBR: Why did you choose Sinclair?
Myers: My ultimate goal is to play Division 1 baseball and this gives me the best option to reach that goal. Plus, they have good facilities.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Myers: Ohio Dominican, Morehead State, Miami, Baldwin Wallace, Vincennes, and West Virginia State.
PBR: Sinclair is known for sending many of their players to 4 year colleges. How much of a role did that play in your decision to go to Sinclair?
Myers: That played a major role in my decision. They also send a lot of guys to D1 schools.
PBR: Where did the Coach Dintaman first see you?
Myers: During high school.
PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable moment.
Myers: Reb Sports Academy. Probably hitting my first career homerun at Wright State.
PBR: Sinclair CC plays at a beautiful facility in Grady’s Field. How much of a role did distance play in your decision?
Myers: It played a big role. I always want to play on a nice field and it means you get a lot of home games.
PBR: What were you stats this spring at Grove City?
Myers: .434 avg, hits 43, doubles 10, RBI 13
ERA 2.36, strikeouts 49, BB 12, inning pitched 53.33
PBR: Your high school teammate, Tyler Cowles, also committed to Sinclair. How much of an influence did he have on your decision?
Myers: Tyler and I have been friends since 6th grade so it played a big role. He is a great player so I look forward to playing with him for a few more years.
PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have faced in Ohio?
Myers: Evan White (Kentucky commit)
