PBR: Why did you choose Dayton?
Hall:  I chose Dayton because the campus and baseball program stood out to me as a perfect fit. Coach Vittorio, Coach Linklater and Coach Talarico have a great program in place.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Hall:  Morehead, Marietta, Bowling Green, and Heildelberg.

PBR: Where did Coach Vittorio first see you? How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?
Hall:  I think they may have seen me in the D-III championship games at Huntington Park last season.

PBR: Coach Vittorio is putting together a nice recruiting class.  How does it feel to be a part of a Division 1 baseball program?
Hall:  To be a part of a Division 1 baseball program is first and foremost an honor. I am excited for the opportunity to play at the highest level of college baseball.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Hall:  The coaches expect me to come in and play behind a senior catcher in which they use a two catcher system. They expect me to take over the #1 spot my sophomore year.

PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that you will help Flyer baseball?
Hall:  I believe it is my ability to pick off runners on base. I have picked off or thrown out 16 runners this season. I also believe my leadership from behind the plate is a strong trait that helps to lead my team.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?
Hall:  Last summer, I played for the American Legion Post 23, The Gene Bennett classic was an honor to play in. I was chosen the Rocky Nelson Defensive player of the tournament.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process?  
Hunt: Going into the process last spring my family and I had no clue what we were getting into. The recruiting process is an awesome and a humbling experience.

PBR: What were your stats last spring season at Wheelersburg?
Hall:  .341 batting average, 26 runs scored, 7 doubles, 30 RBI, and 9 stolen bases

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio?
Hall:  Zach Farmer from Piketon
