The scoring and offense was hot and heavy early. Tunstall came out swinging and put up three early runs on the Christiansburg starter, Nate Hall (Concord). Christiansburg would answer back with three of their own in the bottom of the first when 2024 Tanner Evans hit an opposite field homerun to tie it up at three a piece. The scoring would settle until the fifth inning. The Christiansburg Blue Demons would put up six in the bottom of the fifth, four on a Joseph Tuck grand slam. Christiansburg would get a complete game effort out of Nate Hall and will move on to the regional semifinals to face William Byrd.
