No. 12 Rockhurst plays host to No. 15 Raymore-Peculiar in today’s featured game of the day.

Rockhurst is coming off of a big weekend, in which they posted double digit wins in both games, shutting out Grain Valley 10-0 and clubbing Lee’s Summit North 15-2. Rockhurst is led by a pair of senior pitchers in RHP Henry Weiler (committed to Oklahoma) and LHP Andy Cherary (Missouri State), along with senior SS Logan Gray, and sophomore OF Jack Benninghoff.

Sophomore Storm Rynard will take the hill today for Ray-Pec. Players to watch for Ray-Pec include senior LHP Jeremy Mansur (ranked No. 29 in the Class of 2012, and starting pitcher for Wednesday’s conference opener against Blue Springs), 1B Jacob Boylan (committed to Kansas), and power hitting corner infielder Jack Scribner.
