Scout Blog: Pitt County Classic

Brandon Hall
Mid-Atlantic Scouting Director

During the two week span that encompasses most of North Carolina High Schools’ Spring Break, PBR Scouts worked to be on the road.  The Spring Break events allow our scouting staff to sit at one field for a full day and see 3-4 games, and 6-8 teams.  Each day throughout the Spring Break schedule, at least two of PBR’s scouting staff were taking in games.

Today we are going to take a look at some of the athletes that stood out at the 2023 Pitt County Classic.  Setup as a round robin for teams involved, it gives the programs in the Pitt County area a chance to play teams they may not have on their schedule every year.  Teams are brought in from outside the Pitt County area.  This year, weather affected the overall schedule, but held off long enough to allow PBR to see a couple of games on the opening Friday.
