Scout day Highlights: Canes Baseball

Brandon Hall
Mid-Atlantic Scouting Director

PBR hosted numerous Scout Days throughout the past year.  Most of these Scout Days consisted of an organization showcasing their players to update PBR Profiles with stats, notes, advanced analytics, and video.

Scout Days consist of players working through a full pro-style workout.  They will run a laser timed 60, with 10 and 30 yard splits taken, go through a defensive workout, and take live BP as part of their offensive workout.  PBR scouts will be on hand to add player notes and comments where needed.  Throughout the workout, stats and analytics are being collected.  After the event, PBR will run a series of stories to highlight the players and their performances.

For the organization, all of the players in attendance will receive the updated Player Profile.  All of the stats, notes, news, and analytics are kept on one page that is accessible by the organization, as well as college coaches and scouts.

PBR was at Hopewell HS for a PBR Scout Day with The Canesl on October 30, 2022.  With close to 60 players in attendance, several young players were intriguing follows as they continue to mature into their frames in the coming years.  For the players, they were able to set a bar as to where they are exiting 2022 and heading into their winter workouts.
