Ethan Woodard (C, Stuart Cramer, 2020) - Tripled into the RCF gap in his first AB and scored on a RBI ground out by Riley Cash. Strong catchers arm. Calm demeanor handled his pitching staff well all weekend.
Andrei Beal (RHP, Parkwood, 2020) - compact frame with a short quick arm stroke. FB was holding at 83-84 early and was 79-82 later in the game. Controlled the pitch to both sides of the plate and effectively changed speeds with a SL that showed late bite and 10/4 shape at 71-73 mph.

Garrett Maner (SS, Anson, 2020) - singled to RF and drove in what turned out to be the deciding runs for SBA.
Robbie Crump (RHP, Cuthbertson, 2020) - athletic RHP showed the ability to repeat his delivery. FB was 82-83 in the 3rd with a 69-71 mph breaking ball that showed late bite at times.

KBC Blue vs. SC Braves
KBC used a strong start from Max Vandenbroek who threw 6 innings of shut out baseball and timely hitting from Carter Ruffner, Luke Vick, and Jacob Tirlea to down the SC Braves 2-0 in the 16u Championship of the South Atlantic Summer Championship. Not to go unnoticed was the valiant effort from SC Braves starter Todd Lautenschlager, who threw 6 innings and scattered 2 runs. Congrats to the KBC Blue program and we look forward to seeing you in future PBR Tournaments!

The Spartans scored 1 in the 1st, 1 in the 3rd, 2 in the 4th and 1 in the bottom of the 6th to win the South Atlantic Open Championship. Bodyshop Baseball tied the game at 4 in the 6th on a Finn Qualls 2 RBI single but the Pro Fit Spartans would answer back and score what would ultimately be the game winner on a Brendan Bost RBI double. Camden Wimbush threw 5.2 innings and struck out 6 and Brendan Bost would throw the last 1.1 innings to pick up the win in relief.

ECB raced out to a 7-0 lead sparked by a Kris Blanco two run single in the 3rd inning. The SBA Futures would answer back from 7 down to score 3 in the 4th, 4 in the 5th, and 6 in the 6th to take a 13-7 lead. The SBA offense pounded out 9 hits on the day led by Carson Harris who picked up 3 hits and drove in 3 runs, highlighted by a game tying triple in the 5th.
