Body: 5’10’’, 175 pounds. Strong, athletic frame. 
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance at the plate with a smooth back load and toe-tap in stride. Cocks hands some to initiate the swing and stays short to with quick hands and fast bat speed through the zone. Showed an uphill swing path with great extension through contact and stays behind the ball with a strong two-handed finish. Uses the lower half well with fluid hip rotation and maintains balance throughout the swing. 
Power: 92 mph exit velocity per TrackMan during BP. Solid gap-to-gap approach with some present power to the pull-side. 
Arm: RH. INF - 84 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Ball showed carry across the diamond. 
Defense: Controlled approach and plays with active feet. Presents the glove early and plays low to the ground. Works through the ball fielding it out in front with two hands funneling to the body. Quick glove tap in exchange. Athletic, smooth actions overall, soft hands and plays with confidence. 
Run: 7.06 60-yard time.

Delivery: Side-step wind-up and high leg kick to a tall balance position. Quick, long kick-out stride down the mound with strong lower half drive. Clean hand separation and lands in-line with the plate. Gets extension over the front side. Full follow-through and upright finish falling slightly towards first base.  
Arm Action: RH. Throws with long, loose arm action from a high three-quarter slot with light effort. Really quick arm speed generated through release. 
FB: T85 mph, 81-84 mph. Arm-side run evident on two-seamer with an average spin rate of 2106 rpm per TrackMan.
CB: 65-69 mph. Big 12/6 shape with an average spin rate of 1997 rpm per TrackMan.
SL: 72-73 mph. Showed more 11/5 shape.

MD Top Prospect Games West

Strong, athletic body type and 5’9’’, 165 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance at the plate with a wider base. Smooth back load creating some hand separation and a front toe-tap. Strong lower half involvement and good balance in the box. Short, direct, uphill swing path, quick hands and fast bat speed. Nice extension through contact with a one-handed finish. Gap-to-gap type hitter with some pop. Recorded an 89 mph exit velocity. Athletic and moves very well in the infield. Showed range and a nice controlled approach. Presents the glove well and works through the ball fielding it out in front with soft hands. Showed quick footwork and clean exchanges. Throws with longer arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 84 mph across the diamond. Smooth, clean actions on double play feeds and slow rollers. Also showed the ability to change arm angles and throw with accuracy. Ran a 6.87 60-yard time. Up-tempo side-step wind-up and leg kick into a tall balance point. Strong lower half drive off the rubber and good extension. Gets over front side and lands square to the plate with an athletic finish. Clean hand separation and throws with long, loose, arm action from a high three-quarter slot with easy effort. Creates very quick arm speed through release and the ball explodes out of the hand. Fastball sat 79-83 mph and touched 84 mph. Breaking ball was 66-68 mph with hard 11/5 shape. Changeup showed nice late fade and slider was 71 mph with tight spin.

Lands square to the plate with an athletic finish and slight recoil. Long, loose, whippy arm action with fast arm speed through release. Fastball sat 80-83 mph and breaking ball showed tight spin and sharp 11/5 break at times at 60-62 mph. Change-up was 68-71 mph. Worked 4 innings allowing 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 3. Made big pitches when he needed and showed competitiveness and poise throughout on the mound.

Pesante is 5-9 with an athletic frame the has projection to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open, wide athletic stance, short stride online, short smooth load back good rhythm. Hips are violent and rotate completely, shifts weight a little forward during hip rotation. Quick to the ball, keeps hands inside, barrel has a bit of whip through contact, good extension, slightly uphill path, strength at contact, showed good approach working gap to gap with power potential, exit velocity 86. At short rounds ball and fields with a good wide base and soft hands. Works through the ball to a quick clean exchange throws from a lower 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action infield velocity 78. Ran a 4.0 home to first. On the mound throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a shorter loose arm action that is very quick, throws with some effort, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands slightly open with an athletic finish and some recoil. Fastball was 79 to 83 with some late run. Changeup was 67-69 with some arm speed and late fade to it. Curveball was 61-63 with good arm speed and sharp 10/4 break.
