Today’s stock report is on the rising prospect Arion Worthman. Worthman is a 2015 graduate who is an exceptional athlete from Normal University HS where he is also a star football player. The middle infielder is physically and athletically much more advanced than his peers as he shows sub 6.8 speed in the 60.

The 5-foot-10, 195-pound Worthman is one of the premier athletes in the Class of 2015. His physically advanced frame is highlighted by an extremely strong lower half. When we saw him in early August he ran an event-best 6.79 60 on a slow track.

His athleticism shined at the plate as well, as he exhibited above average bat speed. Worthman swings hard, and showcased some pull-side power potential.  Defensively he showed quick feet, resulting in good range and a quick exchange. His arm showed some carry at 78 mph across the diamond. Arion’s physical nature proves to be his strongest asset and his skill set will only improve with time.
