Stock Report: Class of 2015 OF Mason King (Francis Howell)

Mason King has a solidly built 5-foot-8, 160-pound frame and impressed with ability in the outfield and at the plate. He is a player who shows good work ethic and the drive to continually hone his skills.

In the outfield, King showed to have good body control to the ball, taking good routes with a clean exchange. He consistently played through the ball, with all throws accurate and on a line to his target and a top throw of 75-mph.

At the plate, the left handed hitter has a slightly open stance with a slightly uphill bat path. King was able to extend through contact, driving the ball to all fields. As he continues to progress, there is some power potential in his swing.
