With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Strasburg-Franklin Tigers

Team Name: Strasburg-Franklin Tigers
Head Coach: Mike Becker
Division: IV
2017 Record: 18-10
Conference Record: Inter-Valley Conference, 9-7, 4th

Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: “We return 4 starters and 6 lettermen, but will need to replace a majority of our pitching staff. Coming off consecutive 18 win seasons, we look to continue to play competitive baseball.”

PBR Outlook: Coach Becker and the Tigers are competitive in every game, every year. Look for the same in 2018 despite losing a majority of their pitching staff. Coach Becker gets his kids ready to play and I expect the same in 2018.
