Texas 2023 State Rankings

Now that we have released our second edition of our 2023 rankings, lets go through and give a brief overview of the entire class. The 2023 graduating class in the state of Texas shows a well-balanced group all over the field.
Like most rankings and evaluations, you tend to see a heavy load of players up the middle of the field in premium positions. One thing that stands out is the number of quality catching prospects we have in the state for this class. Catching comes and goes in high school classes and this catching crop is looking like it will be one of the deeper positions overall. We also have a good mix of middle infielders in this group. Some known more for their bat and some known more for the glove but all will be guys to see this summer and follow their improvements. The outfielders in this class all show to have a high athletic ceiling and can change a game with one swing of their bat.
Rounding out the overview we must talk about the pitching in the state. Following along with the great tradition of Texas producing top end pitching prospects, the 2023 class won’t disappoint. We have a mixture of athletic left handers that can already pitch at a high level, as well as a group of projectable power right handers that will develop into a deep class. We are excited to follow along with all of the prospects we have already seen, and look forward to seeing many more that will soon make jumps and work their way into future rankings.
