#3 Ohio High School All-Decade Team: 2010-2019

The calendar flipped to a new decade and with 2020 here and a whole new decade of OHSAA Spring High School Baseball, it's time to look back at the best of the best from the 2010s in the Buckeye State.

In the article, we took a look at the best Ohio High School baseball had to offer over the past decade. The teams were chosen based on individual performance/statistics during the OHSAA spring seasons between 2010-2019 and the competition the individual faced, with the first tiebreaker coming down to tournament/team success and the final tiebreaker being how they have performed post high school. Our very own Hall of Fame Writer, Bruce Hefflinger, put together a six part series after the 2020 season had been cancelled due to Covid-19. The jam-packed article included quotes from former OHSAA Executive Director Jerry Snodgrass, numerous prospects throughout the state, some of the biggest names in coaches from around the state. The article highlights the cancellation of the season, missing your senior year, coaches thoughts, father/son's not being able to play final year, the loss of exposure to colleges, how to get workouts in, no chance to repeat in the state tournament, family affair lost, no final season for coaches, and much more.
