New Website Features added to help prospects gain exposure
- Note: Stories are in their original form from when they were written. This story ran on March 18 and introduced a number of additions to the website just in time for the high school baseball season.

We are constantly looking for ways to add content to the Pennsylvania portion of the website and to improve the exposure of prospects in our state. With the start of the PIAA season less than a week away we are excited to announce several additions to the Teams section of our website.

To utilize the new functions simply drag your mouse to the Teams area of the menu at the top of the Pennsylvania homepage. If you allow your mouse to hover over the Teams heading in the menu bar their will be a drop down menu with four sub-categories. Each of these areas is described below.

  • Scoreboard
    Live updates of games in action as well as box scores for those games that are final.

  • Pennsylvania Team Rankings
    Current rankings of the top teams in the state. The rankings will be updated next on April 1 and then again every Monday throughout the season.

  • All-State Teams
    The 1st Annual PBR Pennsylvania Preseason All-State Team has been released and can be located here. At the conclusion of the high school season Prep Baseball Report will release a PIAA All-State Team, an Independent Schools All-State Team and an Underclassmen All-State Team.

  • Team Statistics
    Pennsylvania has 702 baseball playing high schools statewide. A large percentage of these schools utilize MaxPreps to report player and team statistical information. This area of our website allows you to search MaxPreps for your favorite teams and players.
