Aaron Hedgecock, RHP/1B, Butler HS, 2015
6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect has shown a big increase in velocity over the last year, arm has gooten significantly quicker using medium arm action through a high ¾ slot, fastball showed some late arm-side run and sink at 85-87 mph, struggled with command of 73-76 mph breaking ball burying most in the dirt, good arm action on 77-78 mph changeup that was mostly straight on this occasion, struggled with overall command early but settled in to allow one hit and strike out 2 of the 5 hitters he faced, Hedgecock has added a solid 8 mph to his fastball since we first saw him last summer.

Dylan Givens, RHP/1B, Marshall County HS, 2015
6-foot-6, 230-pound prospect, arm action is long and loose and works with minimal effort through a high ¾ arm slot, fastball sat 81-83 mph touching 84 and he throws it downhill well, slider has gotten harder over the past year at 76-77 mph with late bite, very good arm action on 74-76 mph changeup that shows good sink and fade, gave up a single to the first hitter he faced and then struck out the next four, would expect velocity jump from Givens in the near future as he continues to work on his body.

Luke Brown, LHP/OF, Murray HS, 2016
5-foot-10, 145-pound prospect with room to add to frame, uses long arm action through a high ¾ to over the top arm slot, easy effort in delivery, works fastball consistently at the bottom of the strike zone, fastball sat 81-84 and touched 85 once, two-seam fastball shows some arm-side run, throws a 62-64 mph curveball with 12/6 action at 62-64 mph, slider sat 72-74 mph with late break, good arm action on 71-73 mph changeup with fade, struck out 3 of the 5 batters he faced, arm works well, one of the top left-handed pitchers in Kentucky’s 2016 class with potential for more velocity.

Wyatt Skaggs, LHP/OF, Grayson County HS, 2015
5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect with stocky build and strong legs, uses shorter arm action through a high ¾ arm slot producing a fastball that sat 80-81 mph, occasionally drops arm slot down to produce some arm-side run on the fastball, curveball is a solid pitch with tight spin and good depth with 12/6 and occasional 1/7 action at 65-67 mph, consistently pounds the strike zone and works both sides of the plate well, allowed one hit and struck out 2 of the 5 batters he faced, solid 2015 LHP with potential for more velocity.

Michael Higgins, RHP, South Oldham HS, 2016
6-foot-1, 155-pound prospect with lanky build and significant room to add to projectable frame, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, delivery stays online with easy effort, arm works, fastball sat 79-81 on this occasion (81-83 at previous event), two-seamer shows some arm-side run, showed a sharper curveball than previous event at 66-69 mph that has the makings to be a solid pitch, struck out 4 of the 10 batters he faced allowing just two infield hits, 2016 prospect to watch.

Darren Willams, RHP, Mason County HS, 2016
6-foot-5, 185-pound prospect with long and lanky frame, good projectability, uses long arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, fastball showed slight arm-side run at 77-79 mph and touched 81 once, had a tendency to get under his curveball at times but it showed some depth with 12/6 action when he stayed on top of it, curveball ranged from 61-63 mph, changeup was straight at 69 mph, was able to work fastball in and out, secondary pitches should continue to develop, gave up two hits and struck out 5 of the 10 batters he faced, definite 2016 prospect to keep an eye on.

Travis Weber, RHP, Butler HS, 2015
5-foot-9, 170-pound prospect with good pitchability, consistently throws strikes and hits spots well, works through an over the top arm slot and gets occasional sink on his fastball that produces groundballs, fastball sat 77-79 mph, throws a 70-73 mph curveball with 12/6 action, potential for more velocity in keeping front side closed more consistently, struck out 3 of the 10 batters he faced and did not allow a hit while recording several ground ball outs.

Blake Lambdin, 3B/RHP, Spencer County HS, 2016
6-foot-1, 165-pound prospect with lanky and projectable frame, uses long arm action through a ¾ arm slot that produces occasional late arm-side run and sink to his 78-79 mph fastball, curveball was inconsistent as he got under it a few times but some showed sharper 10/4 action at 60-62 mph, showed the ability to throw strikes, allowed one hit to the five batters he faced in game action.

Carter Smock, RHP, Greenwood HS, 2015
6-foot-2, 162-pound prospect with significant room to add to projectable frame, uses long arm action through a ¾ arm slot, fastball is mainly straight at 74-76 mph touching 77 once, curveball showed short 11/5 break at 61-65 mph, allowed 3 hits and struck out 3 of the 10 batters he faced during his two innings of work in game play.

Logan Davis, LHP, Beth Haven Christian HS, 2015
5-foot-10, 150-pound prospect, uses long arm action through a low ¾ arm slot, struggled some initially with command but then settled into the strike zone, fastball sat 68-70 mph with occasional arm-side run, curveball sat 59-60 with soft sweeping action.  It should be noted that after the event, Davis was diagnosed with inflammation in his elbow which he felt significantly affected his velocity at the event.
