1. ASHE RUSSELL

The most viewed player profile in 2015 was RHP Ashe Russell, a 2015 graduate of Cathedral HS.  The No. 1 player in Indiana's 2015 class, Russell had an electric arsenal in high school with a low-to-mid 90's fastball and a wipeout slider in the low 80's.  Russell had been a first-round prospect for some time and saw that realization come true after being selected with the 21st pick in last June's MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals.  The right-hander played for the Burlington Royals of the Appalachian League last summer where he started 11 games with 36.1 IP and 24 K's.
