Tournaments once again highlight the week in Missouri



The rain is now gone, and it looks as though a full week of games wil be played statewide, highlighted by tournaments featuring some of the top ranked teams and players in the state.

Starting Monday 3/26, the Midwest Classic hosted by defending Class Four champions Francis Howell HS kicks off. The top ranked team in the state, Lee's Summit West, makes their way across Highway 70 for matchups on Thursday at C&H Ballpark against Northwest and Waukegan (IL). Lee's Summit is led by C Matt Fultz (No. 2 ranked player in the Class of 2012), LHP Matt Hall (No. 17 ranked player in the Class of 2012), and standout sophmore RHP Alex Lange (No. 2 ranked player in the Class of 2014). No. 2 ranked Vianney is in action Tuesday and Wednesday. No. 9 ranked Francis Howell Central takes the field Monday and Tuesday. For a complete schedule of pool play, click here.

Beginning Friday, No. 19 ranked SLUH will be hosting the Jesuit Classic Tournament. Highlighting the Jesuit Classic Tournament is Rockhurst HS (No. 12 ranked team in the state) taking on SLUH Saturday morning at 10:30. For a schedule of games, click here.
