Today, we continue our rollout of uncommitted spotlights highlighting the 2021 class.

Jackson Hagen is a 6-foot-1 180-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Kansas' 2021 class. An athletic 3rd basemen ran 6.94 60-yard dash at PBR Building Champions Scout Day. Hagen with the highest velocity across the field. Ranked #47 overall and #3 by third baseman in the state of KS. Keep an eye out for Hagen during the senior season.

Hagen is a 6-foot-1 180-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Kansas' 2021 class.  He ran a 7.35 60, and a 4.88 home to first.  He has an 86 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in athletic position, quick and slight load with hands, swing produced mostly middle to pull side contact during hitting evals, quick bat path, slight lift to path.  On the infield, short high three quarters arm slot, quick catch and throw with clean transfer, fields ball in athletic position, accurate throws, 77 mph positional velocity. On the mound, high three quarters release, controlled and repeatable delivery, in line down the mound, high three quarters arm slot, fastball at  75-78 mph, with command, breaking ball has early break, sharp at times, 63-65 mph, change up with slight arm side run, 70-73 mph, slight arm side running action.

 

 

1/27/18 - Hagen is a 6-foot 160-pound right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class. Hagen has an over the top arm slot, coils at balance point, accelerates down the mound towards home plate, throws with regular effort and loose arm action, fastball at 74-76 mph, curveball at 57-59 mph, 12-to-6 shape, change up at 60-64 mph some sink.
