At the event he ran a 7.58 second 60 yard dash and 5.04 home-to-first. During batting practice, Brant showed an 83 mph exit velocity, quiet load that leads into an aggressive swing, flat bat path, longer and in line stride, leverages front side, quick hands, showed hard line drive contact to all fields. Defensively, Brant has good actions, shows athleticism, aggressive to the baseball, moves well side-to-side, momentum towards target, over the top release, positional velocity of 77 mph, very accurate throws.

1/15/18 - Brant is a 5-foot-7 160-pound right-handed hitting second baseman in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 4.75 home to first and has a 74 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, thin stance with a slight raise into an attacking position to load, hands work downhill to contact, in line stride, swing produced middle to pull side contact, aggressive.  On the infield, 75 mph positional velocity, over the top release, short arm circle, quick transfer, hands and feet work on time together, mostly accurate throws.
