Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Ladue Outfielder Dylan Barstow

Shon Plack
Missouri Scouting Director

Last spring, Dylan Barstow (Ladue, 2014) a 6-foot 170-pound outfielder, hit .333 with 6 doubles and 15 RBI.  He earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors as a designated hitter and was named to the Ladue Horton Watkins All-Academic Team.  Although the Rams fells short in the conference championship to SLUH, the co-captain has his sites set on the conference championship and advancing to state in 2014.

The speedy outfielder has 6.99 60-time and has registered a velocity of 84 MPH from the outfield.  Offensively, the right-handed hitting Bartsow has a swing that produces consistent gap-to-gap line drives.  He has an exit velocity of 79 MPH.

Barstow plays for the Rawlings Tigers 18U team in the summer and fall.  His visits include the University of Mississippi, Missouri State and the University of Miami-Ohio. He plans to visit Truman State in the near future.  The Ladue senior is looking for high-level business and entertaining the thoughts of entering a pre-law program.
