Today's spotlight is on unsigned senior Jordan Martin.  Martin is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound RHP from Harrison County High School in Cynthiana, KY. 

Martin shows a good, on line delivery that generates an 84-86 mph fastball that tops out at 87.  His fastball shows good arm side run, and he is not afraid to run his 2-seamer in on right handed hitters.  He pitches aggressively to both sides of the plate well.  He shows an 11/5 curveball with tight spin that sits at 70 mph.  Martin has also developed a 74 mph change-up that shows good run and is thrown with good arm action.

Martin, who also swings the bat well, will provide senior leadership to a Harrison County squad that won 30 games last season.  He has plenty of big game experience, as he was the winning pitcher in a complete game effort in the Kentucky State Championship Game in 2010.  With Martin on the mound, look for Harrison County to be a tough out in the 10th region in 2013.
