Alabama Class of 2022 Rankings:
The rising sophomore class in Alabama has some very talented young players. Two pitchers and three catchers highlight the list of the Top 10. New #1 player in the '22 class is OF Alex Wade of Madison Academy. The tall, rangy athlete can run, has some pop in the barrel and coupled with nice arm strength. Coming in at #2 is RHP Elliott Bray of Hartselle HS. The young Bray can hit as a 3B but no doubt, his future is on the mound where he already shows a mid 80's fastball and both off speed pitches are considered "plus" right now. #3 on the list is 3B Andrew Burns of Boaz HS. The Alabama commit can play either corner infield position but the main thing Burns does is hit, showing some nice back spin off the barrel. C Tucker Stockman of Athens HS comes in at #4 on the list. Stockman is another physical catcher that has some pop in the barrel but he may project as a RHP as well, showing a fastball up to 86 MPH at the recent Future Games. Rounding out the Top 5 is 6'5 RHP Cameron Keshock of Spanish Fort HS. The fastball is mid to upper 80's right now with legit arm side run and the 11/5 breaking ball already shows nice shape. Keshock has a very high ceiling on the mound.
