It is with great excitement that we release to you today, our most recent update to the Virginia/DC Class of 2025 rankings with our Top 25 release. Following today's Top 25 release, we will unveil the Top 50 on Tuesday, and Top 175 on Thursday. Following the release of our expanded 2025 rankings, we will highlight a few big risers in the rankings on Friday, as well as highlight nationally ranked players from VA/DC.
We have a new #1 in the 2025 class, with Evan Hankins moving into the top spot. The left handed arm and left handed bat has been impressive in our two looks this spring. In game power from the left side and plenty of upside on the mound. Has real two-way potential getting up to 88 on the mound and showing a feel for an above average slider, as well as flashing above average feel for a changeup.
‘25 Evan Hankins with an absolute ? in the T1.

The #GoVols commit jumps on a 1st pitch and sends it deep over the RCF fence.

4 K’s through 2 IP. Worked around a E and a 1B in the first. Showed 4 pitches. FB has been 85-87 w/ mult 88’s. Got a K on 77 mph CH to end 2nd. @PBRVirginiaDC @ShooterHunt #PBRIsThere pic.twitter.com/u3rPcCeWZc
The biggest mover in the Top 10 is #2 Noah Yoder. The Duke commit has been a big climber in the velo department and has put up some gaudy numbers this spring. Yoder has thrown just over forty-one innings to date, piling up seventy-one strikeouts, and a 1.18 ERA. He is 6-2 on the year with the only losses coming to two cross town rivals in which the Raiders lost 1-0 to Hanover and 2-0 Mechanicsville.

Yoder has been strong through three innings. Primarily FB’s 88-92 T93 (3x) T94 (1x). Has mixed in a few filthy CB’s 76-79. 6 K’s through three.@PBRVirginiaDC @ksallday19 #PBRIsThere pic.twitter.com/Dp4UQBiUpu
Also moving in to the Top 10 is East Carolina commit, Grady Lenahan. The Patriot High School centerfielder has been on an absolute tear this spring. Nine homeruns to date and has been the leading force in the Pioneers' offense. Lenahan has shown in game power to the middle and backside of the field with the athleticism to stay in center.
‘25 Grady Lenahan gives @PatriotHitSquad the lead w/ this 3 run HR to RF. The #ECU commit stayed on this 2K pitch and went with it for the oppo ?. @PBRVirginiaDC #PBRIsThere pic.twitter.com/rkTkM5ElDS
