Twice a week during the season, we will post scoreboards. Our focus will be to make sure we get up every score from teams in the Power 25 or in consideration for the Power 25. We will also post scores that are easily accessible via GameChanger or MaxPreps.

Monday, April 25

#1 Hanover 17, Henrico 0
3 Hawks combined on the one-hitter, highlighted by Anthony Gabello (JMU) striking out 5 in 2 innings.

#3 Freedom (South Riding) 6, Osbourn Park 0
Ryan Morrison (CNU) struck out 11 in 6 innings of 2-hit ball with no walks while Nathan Chen (Randolph-Macon) hit a home run.

#7 Cape Henry 3, Steward 2
Yoon Chae walked it off with a home run in the bottom of the eighth and Tanner Schaedel was 2-4 with a 2B. Nate Kumper and Michael Moore had multi-hit games for Steward.

#8 Independence 3, Potomac Falls 1
Ben Ross allowed just 2 hits in 6 innings of shutout work with 8 strikeouts. Austin Monahan was solid for Potomac Falls.

#12 Riverside 7, Woodgrove 6
The Rams scored four in the seventh to come from behind and win. Griffin Farmery delivered the tying and go-ahead runs with a 2-out 2 RBI single. Stone Lasseigne (CNU) was 2-3 with a 2B and 3 RBI. Tony Monastero was 2-3 with a home run for Woodgrove.

#13 Glen Allen 11, Patrick Henry (Ashland) 3
Ethan Hudson (Randolph-Macon) had a grand slam and Ethan Brooks (VCU) was 3-4.

#14 Abingdon 15, Lee 1
Ethan Gibson (Virginia Tech) was 3-3 with 2 2Bs, a BB, and 4 RBIs.

#15 Greenbrier Christian 16, Peninsula Catholic 0
Austin Younce (VCU) hit for the cycle while going 4-5 and driving in 6 runs. Tucker Rupe was 4-4 and Bubba Sawyer (Virginia) was 3-4. TJ Norvell struck out 12 in 5 innings of 1-hit ball.

James Madison 5, #17 South Lakes 2
Bryce Eldridge (Alabama) had a home run and Bannon Brazell was 2-3 and tossed a complete game in the win.

Ethan Burgreen (Shepherd) was 2-4 with 2 RBI and threw 4 shutout innings and Nate Brookshire was 2-2 with 2 RBI.

Peter Hoenig (CNU) was 2-3 with an RBI and Ryan Marohn (NC State) picked up the win with 4 innings of strong relief and 6 strikeouts. Caleb Ramey was 3-4 and AJ Shepard (Indiana) and Kyle VanDenburg had multi-hit games in the loss.

Joey Colucci (Maryland) threw a 6-hit shutout with 7 strikeouts and no walks. Josh Hand (Virginia Tech) was 2-3 for Independence.

Collegiate 5, #9 St. Christopher's 0
Pearse Riendeau and Eric McDaniel combined on the shutout for Collegiate. Riendeau also had a 2B and McDaniel was 2-3 with an RBI.

Sammy Michel threw a no-hitter with 7 strikeouts and Cooper Harris was 2-3 with an RBI. Ryan Donahue was solid as the tough luck loser, allowing just 6 hits in a complete game.
