With the addition of 25 new faces, PBR Virginia/DC is proud to release the updated Class of 2020 rankings. These rankings consist of prospects we have been able to see across the Commonwealth/DC using our boots-to-the-ground approach to scouting in our never-ending effort to provide the most complete scouting coverage. With this latest addition, we have now made it to the top 150 player around the commonwealth and District.

PBR Virgina/DC Preseason Schedule

It is important to note that our PBR VA/DC Rankings are not just based on the current ability of a player, but also the projection that each prospect has. Projection plays a larger part in our younger class rankings (2021, 2022) as we not only base each player on what they are now, but what we think they can become as they develop down the road to their senior year. As we get closer to that senior season for each class, current ability begins to play a much larger factor (2020, 2019). Projection, though playing a large part for some players, starts to be less of a factor the closer we get to their career after high school.

With this update to the 2020 ranks, it stays pretty status quo with no big movement in the top ten. Still remaing at the top spot is super talented LHP Nate Savino of Potomac Falls. Savino made one of the biggest moves in the PBR Overall rankings this year, flirting with the top ten of our top 500 players across the country.

Top new face to the rankings goes to LHP Luke Schauer of St. John's College (Virginia). The recent Wahoo commit arrives in the No. 17 spot. Biggest riser goes to Eddie Eisert of Bishop O'Connell. Eisert saw a large gain in velocity this fall and became a hot commodity with the life in his arm and untapped potential. Eisert made his commitment to NC State this fall. A second big riser was LHP Christian Williams of Mathews, who put up some big velocity numbers in Georgia and committed to TCU.

Enough talk, let's take a look at the top ten.
