Weekend Roundup: May 2 & 3 Games

Here is a look at some of the scores and highlights from the action around the state from the weekend.

Central 5, Oak Ridge 2
Nick Stamps picked up the win on the mound for the Bobcats with 6 strikeouts and the win over the Wildcats. Alex Haynes went 1 for 3 with a double and Bradley Clark added another hit for Central.

Soddy Daisy 4, Ooltewah 3
Wright had a huge day on the mound with 9 strikeouts in an impressive win over the Owls. Offensively, Carter went 2 for 4 with a double and Rogers had a home run.

Morristown East 7, Cherokee 2
Ryan Lloyd had a big day for the Hurricanes with a double at the plate and picking up the win on the mound. Aaron Smith went 2 for 4 at the plate.

Lexington 16, Fayette Ware 2
Ethan Small went 3 for 3 and Darrius Bomer went 2 for 3 with double to lead the Lexington offense in a blowout win. Luke Buckley picked up the win on the mound.

Marion County 5, Lookout Valley 4
Logan Walters had a huge night on the mound with 13 strikeouts and the win. Jake Barton and Corey Murray each had a hit.

Harding Academy 6, St. George’s 3
Ty Wooton went 2 for 3 at the plate and Jake Criswell had a double to lead the Harding Academy offense. Nathan Ruble picked up the win on the mound with 6 strikeouts.

Wilson Central 12, Beech 11
McCorkle went 3 for 5 with a double and Franklin went 2 for 5 with a triple to lead Wilson Central in a big win. Ryan Hill picked up the win on the mound.

HVA 8, Bearden 7
Pung went 3 for 4 with a double and a home run to lead the Hawks offense in a huge win over the Bulldogs. Sears went 2 for 3 at the plate with a home run and Turner picked up the win on the mound.

Morristown West 7, South Doyle 3
Calvin Smith and Jacob Jennings both went 2 for 3 at the plate with a home run. Will Heflin picked up the win on the mound.

Upperman 8, Smith County 0
Winston Cannon had a huge day on the mound with 11 strikeouts and the win for Upperman. Dristen Jared had a big day at the plate going 2 for 2 with a double and a triple. Mason Stephens went 2 for 3 at the plate.

Haywood 3, Ripley 1
Hunter Roten went 2 for 3 and Dustin Staggs had a home run to lead the Haywood offense. Roten picked up the win on the mound with 5 strikeouts.

Siegel 2, Oakland 1
In a game that went into extra innings, the Stars pulled away with the win. At the plate, Benefield went 3 for 5 with a home run and Kristinus went 2 for 2 with a double. Clary picked up the win on the mound.

McCallie 3, Father Ryan 1
Quinn Smith went 2 for 2 at the plate and Drew Vaughn had a double to lead McCallie to an impressive win. Carson McKoon picked up the win on the mound with 5 strikeouts.

USJ 4, Evangelical Christian 1
Ryan Rolison had an impressive performance on the mound with 8 strikeout and picking up the win. Ben Brauss went 3 for 5 and Cameron Tinker went 2 for 4 with a double at the plate.

Crockett County 9, Dyersburg 5
John Elford had a home run and Seth Permenter had a triple to lead Crockett County over Dyersburg.  Saylor picked up the win on the mound.

East Robertson 6, Nashville Christian 3
Lane Eden had an impressive performance on the mound with 12 strikeouts and the win. Issac Howeth went 3 for 3 and Rob Patterson went 2 for 2 at the plate in an East Robertson win.

Farragut 6, Maryville 0
Patrick Raby the Vanderbilt signee had another impressive performance against the Rebels. Raby had 13 strikeouts and picked up the win for the Admirals on the mound. Nico Mascia went 2 for 3 at the plate.

Hendersonville 12, Lebanon 1
Brenning and Richard both went 2 for 2 at the plate in a blowout win for Hendersonville. Fuller picked up the win on the mound.

Halls 2, Anderson County 1
Chase McDaniel went 2 for 2 and Dalton Langston had a double to lead Halls to a come from behind win. Jonathan Wyrick picked up the win on the mound.

Boyd Buchanan 10, Grace 3
EJ Matthews went 3 for 3 with a double and Brandon Willingham went 2 for 3 with a home run to lead the offensive attack. Skyler Anderson picked up the win on the mound.

South Greene 23, Cloudland 7
Ayden Shaw had a big day going 2 for 3 with two doubles at the plate and picked up the win on the mound.

Sevier County 12, Seymour 2
Nick Osborne had a huge day for the Smoky Bears going 3 for 4 at the plate with a home run and had 10 strikeouts on the mound. Charlie Brown went 2 for 3 at the plate in a big win for Sevier County over rival Seymour.

Powell 11, Clinton 4
Joe Stucky and Logan Ward both went 3 for 5 at the plate in a win over the Dragons. Everett picked up the win on the mound.

McMinn County 9, Bradley Central 6
Fesmire went 2 for 3 with a double and Lockmiller had a home run to lead the Cherokees in a big win. Edgemon picked up the win on the mound.

Karns 2, Gibbs 1
Greg Tye went 2 for 3 and Chris Newton went 1 for 3 in a big win over the Eagles of Gibbs. Chase McAllister picked up the win on the mound.

West 7, William Blount 0
Sam Springer had a huge day going 3 for 3 at the plate and picking up the win on the mound with 9 strikeouts. Joe Johnson went 2 for 3 at the plate.

Grainger County 12, Cumberland Gap 2
Corey Bates went 4 for 4 with a double and a triple to lead Grainger County in the win. Trey Cabbage had a home run and Ethan Browles picked up the win on the mound.

Centennial 3, Independence 1
Jake Lyle and Deon Sanders both went 2 for 3 with a double at the plate. Adam Mancour had a big day on the mound with a 10 strikeout performance.
